This easy, non-jointed teddy bear pattern gives you 2 options to create a dressed memory bear: use all new fabric with the included dress, bloomers & head bow pattern pieces OR use a child’s special pre-loved clothing item/s for these. The pattern is perfect for onesies, christening gowns, Christmas or party dresses and flower girl outfits. Gracie makes a lovely gift for new grandmothers or granddaughters, especially at baby showers! She is a “sturdy sitter” with room for adding names & dates on her footpads or dress front.

Suitable Fabric: Gracie can be sewn with most fabrics. I’ve used quilting cottons but you can also use clothing items to create a keepsake teddy bear. Use interfacing to line fabrics that are thin and very stretchy - this allows you to mix different types of fabrics.
