This charming little tortoise is snug-as-a-bug in her shell. She is a timeless toy that’s great for baby showers or toddler gifts. Get creative! You can sew a tortoise in any color (not just green) or you can make Tilly as a memory keepsake using pre-loved clothing items. You can hand sew the body-cover to the shell so that it holds the body tightly in the shell but some clever people have used snaps to make the body-cover removable. It’s great fun for kiddies to let Tilly out of her little house!

Suitable Fabric: Tilly can be sewn out of most fabrics including quilting cottons. The testers made her in all sorts of fun fabrics - from fluffy Cuddle to denim (not advised for beginners).
